January 25, 2011 11:24 am UTC 2 Comments2012, I mean 2011 is a very special year, both Numerologically and Astrologically.
Are you curious about how your driver is going to do? Is Jimmie Johnson going to win again? How will Dale Jr. fare? Tony Stewart has already started his year a bit aggressively…Will Smoke be smoking hot in 2012? I mean, 2011? Will Brooklyn’s affect on new Daddy Ryan Newman change the way he drives? What about Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, and Carl Edwards? Will they continue to drive as phenomenally, now that they have had to choose which series they will earn point in? Will the feuds continue?
I dare YOU to use my prediction’s in your Fantasy Racing.
I dare ME to remember to play.
I dare Charlie to beat me.
I dare Steve to prove he is not an Idiot.
I dare ALL the Stat guys to a challenge of accuracy.
Stats vs. ‘Scope’s.
2011, I mean 2010, brought us some of the most exciting racing in years. Will the changes in NASCAR rules, affect the excitement for the fans, or dampen it? Will it be possible that actually winning races will matter?
We will be taking a look at all the full time NASCAR Driver’s for the first six months of the season tomorrow. I will also be looking at the year and make my predictions as to who may be the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion. I have to do it early, so no one can say I cheat. Oops. 2011. So far this year I am losing in the accuracy challenge. By a year. I was spot on last year…
Well, not quite. Only 97%.
It’s tough to be a Goddess. ~ Me.

October 31, 2010 12:07 pm UTC No CommentsHappy Halloween!
Today’s pertinent aspect’s for the Chase contenders stunned me a tad.
Mars is the dominant aspect transiting every plant and moon in every one of the driver’s chart’s, not just the contenders.
Mars being named after the Roman and Greek God of War, doesn’t surprise me that he showing his face at “Dega. HE always does. However, normally, there are usually a few other transits and planets that show up in the daily chart.
Not today.
Literally, the Chase contenders ‘scope’s are nearly identical, with the excpetion of Kurt Busch, who has a dangerous Mar’s fury happening. Tony Stewart is showing extreme assertiveness and drive, but there is a small window of the possibility of an accident /and or mechanical issues.
Carl Edwards has one Jupiter conjunction with Mars for about 20 minutes during the race and, **shudders** the theme of it would be:“Out of the air”… So does Clint Boyer. ( So do I for that manner, now I will be a wreck on the freeway. and tick my daughter off. I have my own brake and horn on the passenger side of her car, you know? )
Kyle Busch? Sorry buddy your scope still sucks today, as it has every race in the Chase.
Jeff Gordon has Mars in Opposition to his Moon. This means frustration, and out of control anger. Denny Hamlin also has the same aspect, as does Clint Boyer. All three have big wreck “squares” looking at them in the face throughout the day.
All the driver’s I did not mention are strictly the same. They want to win and they are going to do whatever thy can to do it. Will we have a big one? I believe so.
If I was forced to pick whose ‘scope was really the best, it would be very hard. I am looking at Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, and Tony Stewart.
But only if I was forced.
The thing is, it really doesn’t matter what I say, because the Moon is Void of Course, which means throw anything and everything out the window. It’s a wobblin’.
Anything, and I mean ANYTHING can happen,
or NOT.
BOO!
(Sing to the tune of the Mexican Cock Roach song)

NASCAR Astro-Predictions for Martinville

October 24, 2010 12:54 pm UTC 1 CommentI looked at the scope’s for Martinsville the other day, and thought “No, that can’t be right”. I have been pretty grumpy this Full Moon, so I thought I will look in a day or so and do a more in-depth work up on them when I am in a better space. I did, looked deeper, no change.
The pertinent scope’s today do not belong to the Chase Contender’s, except for four. Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart both have nearly identical ‘scope’s during the race. Both have Venus Square Mars, which brings , good feelings, assertiveness, aggression when needed, and focus. They both enter their 10th Houses, The House of Fame today. BUT…they both have some pretty rough aspects, most of which are strictly mental, so we may or may not see or hear those struggles.
Jimmie Johnson‘s scope is pretty rough. However Chad Knaus‘s aspect’s are perfect as usual. I expect to see Chad‘s magic today, along with a lot of frustration from Jimmie.
Kurt Busch‘s scope basically says “Get ‘Er DONE!” What else can I say? There is two tiny aspect’s that are negative that last for a few minute each, that could be issues, however, other than that I look for a pretty good finish if not a win for Kurt.
Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin both show impatience, temper and aggression. This could come out ok for them if they can keep focus. If not, I see them losing some points.
The last of the four really pertinent scope’s I see is Clint Boyer. Again there are a few small moments that could indicate a crash…but I look for a good day for Clint if that doesn’t happen.
Biffle‘s ‘scope is fair can’t say he is going to have the day he wants. But I was totally wrong last time with him and he won, so I am going to shush…:)
I am really not sure how to read Matt Kenseth‘s scope, because every aspect he has has to do with Love, as in the bunny and seal type. Not the sexually aggressiveness that can come from some Mars aspect’s. Just Venus…Venus everywhere. Hearts and Cupids.
KyBu doesn’t look great except for a very aggressive Mars square with Jupiter. Jeff Burton has a mediocre scope which I am learning means he mat have a top ten. **Or not.
Kevin Harvick entered a very strong transit, Sun in the 8th House this morning. This is the House of Money. $$$. It is in effect until the end of Nov, along with some other very good transits coming up in the next few weeks.
The Driver’s who show serious sign of winning are non- Chase contenders. Jamie MacMurray, Juan Pablo Montoya and Kasey Kahne all have great ‘scope’s. I am going to post a progressive outlook on Kasey Kahne this week. You will see a lot of synchronicity. I look forward to what’s coming up for him in 2011.
**Now the most important aspect of all, is mine. My scope is crazy right now…so I “Officially” will let you know, that I have no idea what I am talking about where anything is concerned, for the next few weeks. You may not want to pay any attention at all.:)
Cheers!
NASCAR Astro-Prediction’s For ACS
by Clance' McClannahan, Special To NASCAR commentary and driver pictures, 2012 NASCAR schedule, video, Bench Racing With Steve and Charlie
Clance' McClannahan, famous author behind The Church of The Great Oval and also one of the much appreciated Contributing Authors at Thunder Lounge.
October 10, 2010 12:54 pm UTC No CommentsThe race at ACS falls on a very special day, so we have several things to look at that pertain to what could affect not only the driver’s and the race, but all of us.
I waited to do this post today because it is 10-10-10. Because this day will happen only once in all of history, metaphysically, spiritually and astrologically it is an especially significant time in everyone’s lives. It begins a new Universal Cycle. Since Universal cycles are, by definition, universal, their effect is global and therefore felt by each individual. It represents the Interconnectedness of everything.
Universal Days like today ( or 9-9-09, 8-8-08 etc.) are traditionally the best days to get married or renew your wedding vows with each other. I would encourage anyone who reads this, and is married, to surprise your spouse and just say “Let’s renew our wedding vows to each other.” And DO IT. It will harmonically bring you closer together throughout the next year. Make it a practice to renew your vows every year, on the Universal Day. Next year, Nov. 11, 2011.
Today is Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s birthday. How lucky for him, or anyone who shares Oct. 10th as a birthday. A baby born on this day, will have a charmed life, full of love and grace. It will be especially intelligent and talented. A Star Child. Blessed in every way!
Dale Earnhardt Jr., born October 10, 1974
Today is a day of new beginnings for Jr., and the effects of the day will set the tone for the entire next year. This does not necessarily mean his racing, it means his personal thoughts and attitudes about his life. Dale Jr. is just coming out of a long period of multiple challenging transits, the last of which end in Jan, 2011. Finally! The main transit that has been affecting Jr. for the last few years, is specifically to make a young man into a man…his own man. The transit of Uranus in Opposition to his Ascendant is a time that brings upsets and unexpected changes in relationships. A free-spirited, independent streak arises in the one experiencing the aspect, making them more selfish, (or less selfless, no longer a doormat) independent, and unwilling to tolerate being stifled by another. They also rebel against others who are domineering or rigid in their way of dealing with other people. Sound like Dale Jr.’s last few years?
Whatever Jr. does or begins today will bear the stamp of his individuality more than anything else. This is the day to assert himself anew. Mercury is sextile his Ascendant, making it a strong day for handling details, and and mental pursuits. Dale Jr.’s ideas are well-received, his mind is alert, and he can easily and quickly grasp information now. Jr.’s Moon is trine his Midheaven, (or Med Coeli). This is an excellent time for public relations, sales, promotion, and marketing. It’s also a strong period for entertaining and attending social events. Making connections with like-minded people is easier now. I often see this aspect on a winning day. I will be posting the 6 month aspect’s for Jr., later today. Happy Birthday Dale!
10-10-10 as far as how it will affect the race is a bit different than how it will affect our personal lives. Numerologically, In creating a table for 10/10/10, numbers 3 and higher are missing, number 1 is the most prevalent, and the Universal Cycles (or influences that impact the population as a whole, rather than the individual) have a very effective influence in regards to interpersonal communication. While 4 is the Universal Cycle for the month, 5 represents the specific day of October 10, 2010. Tension and conflict is a definite possibility for the day, since 4 and 5 are two very distinctive, yet opposite, powers — and they’re butting heads today. Inflated egos and power struggles may come to surface today.
Here are the pertinent aspect’s for the Chase Contender’s.
Jimmie Johnson has a lot of mixed aspects today. Equally positive and negative. Saturn Sextile Neptune gives him a heavy heart, a time of sober reflection on all planes of his life. With this influence there is the danger of taking one’s own actions too seriously. This can be a very covert form of egotism in the name of spiritual awareness and devotion, and no form of egotism, even if it goes by another name, is compatible with this influence. His Moon is square his Moon, an aspect that could make him very unpopular for the day. His Moon square Venus will make him very vulnerable. His Moon trine his Ascendant will mellow the negatives somewhat. Moon trine Saturn makes him keenly aware of his responsibilities. He also has his Moon sextile Sun, and this transit offers him increased clarity derived from a feeling that what he wants and what he needs are in complete harmony. Chad Knaus’s scope is perfect. This IS Chad’s year to shine even more than he has in previous years. Chad is the winning key to JJ’s success’s this year.
Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart‘s ‘scope’s sucks. BUT last week Greg Biffle‘s did also, and he overcame all astrological odds, and won. We will see.
Greg Biffle, has a lot of great aspect’s this week. Again, the only thing against him is his own confidence, which hopefully has risen and carried over from last weeks win. All his Moon aspects are trines, with the exception of Mercury conjunct Neptune, which could make for difficult communications.
Carl Edwards, may not be so lucky. Carl’s main aspect today, Sun Conjunction Pluto, rules mechanical issues. It also signifies having an unfortunate encounter. So, I expect him to wreck and maybe even have a DNF.
Kurt Busch‘s scope is as perfect as Chad Knaus‘s.
Kyle Busch has Mercury Conjunction Moon, Not good considering the day it is. It is not so favorable for reasoned logical communication. He will tend to be acting on his feelings right now, but it might get him into hot water if he are not truly in touch with himself. He is capable of some childish or impulsive reactions during this transit. Tempers may flare, domestic squabbles are possible, and Kyle could be feeling under the weather.
Jeff Gordon has all squares and oppositions today, which generally means it’s going to be a lousy day.
Kevin Harvick has the aspect being his main energy, as Kyle Busch does. Uh-oh.
Denny Hamlin‘s aspect’s are also aspect’s of the fit throwing kind. He is going to continue having these for the next year, remember. This is his Saturnian Return year…the year that will challenge his character. He does have a mellowing aspect of Jupiter trine Uranus. Breakthroughs in Denny’s career could open up during this time, making it possible for him to solve problems and reach new levels of accomplishment. Improved solutions, insights, and approaches make this an opportunity not to be passed over.
Jeff Burton‘s had about evenly mixed challenging aspect’s and positive transits. Nothing really outstanding.
Clint Boyer has the aspects as Carl Edward’s. I look for some mechanical issue’s or a wreck that does some serious damage to the car. ( For some reason also, the majority of Clint’s scope has to do with woman and learning life lessons. It’s everywhere, every week.) He better be nice to his Mom:)
BUT
The Moon is Void of Course today going into Scorpio. This means that everything I just wrote astrologically could be turned inside out and upside down. It’s also enter Scorpio, which could sting angrily, and intensify everything, or make everyone soar and fly like and eagle with only the most honorable of intentions.
NASCAR Astro-Predictions ~ The Chase
by Clance' McClannahan, Special To NASCAR commentary and driver pictures, 2012 NASCAR schedule, video, Bench Racing With Steve and Charlie
Clance' McClannahan, famous author behind The Church of The Great Oval and also one of the much appreciated Contributing Authors at Thunder Lounge.
September 15, 2010 10:04 pm UTC 3 CommentsThe Chase has begun, and as always, there is an element of anticipation in the week to week scrutiny of what the outcome of each race will be. Assumptions, guesstimates, hunches, deductions, statistics, and theory all play into the excitement of which driver is going to take The 2010 Sprint Cup Championship. My way of predicting happens to be the Astrological Aspects going on in each driver’s Progressed Horoscope, based on the Natal, or birth chart of where, what day, year and what time they were born. Astrology is just another way of statistical projection.
A progressed chart is one that you look at from a specific date, to another specific date in the future. Aspects are complex, some long term, some shorter, some for only a few minutes. Some aspects increase the intensity of another aspect, and some mute or mellow another. The phase of the Moon and which sign it is currently passing through affect’s not only the driver’, but the overall race. When the Moon is called Void of Course, that means it is passing from one sign into another, yet not quite in either. When a race is run during that time, ( which can last from minutes to hours)…Throw everything out the window, because anything goes.
What I want to take a look at in this post is the long term projections from Loudon through Homestead. As we go from week to week, not only will I be looking at driver aspects, I will be looking at the layover and combination of their crew chief’s aspects as well. I also, when something is significantly opposite, or the same between two or more driver’s look at the layovers of their charts to compare what may or may not happen. The latitude and longitude of each course is also taken into consideration. There is your short little lesson in Astrology.
I am going to start out with a short over view of the dates I see issues with, with each driver, during the run for The Chase. This week I will be posting the ‘scope’s a tad off schedule. I will be posting the pertinent aspects each week on Tuesdays for each driver and course.
Let’s start with our points leader, Denny Hamlin.
Denny has a lot going on with Jupiter at this time in his life. Jupiter represents wisdom. It is a planet of freedom, tolerance and plenty. Jupiter is said to bring great good fortune, and its influence is to expand the effect of everything it comes into contact with. From this planet all good things come and it is seen as avuncular, jolly, moderate and kind. Denny has both positive and negative influences going on with Jupiter.
I see two different transits happening at the same time that may be an issue for Denny. Saturn is in direct opposition to Denny’s Moon from Sept. 13, until Sept. 29th. This is one of the most emotionally trying influences.
From Sept. 14th until Sept. 30th, Saturn is conjunct Saturn in Denny’s Chart. This is an influence that only happens to everyone once every 29 years, and generally starts at age 29-30. It is always a time of endings and new beginnings. This aspect is one of the the most influential and important times in life.
It’s something is going to shift for Denny, whether it’s a huge jump or drop in point standing’s, this is when it’s going to happen. Loudon and Dover may very well be, Denny’s make or break.
Jimmie Johnson is 2nd in points, but I am saving JJ for last. You will see why.
Kevin Harvick has Jupiter square Mars as a major influence since May and continues until early January. It’s main significance is insight and skill. June 2010 until beginning of February 2011, Jupiter is trine Kevin’s Saturn, signifying clarity of intention and patience, single purpose of goals. At the end of Oct., around Martinsville and Talledega, Kevin’s Saturn transitions into some not so positive conjunctions of confinement. The aspects of influence continue through the end of The Chase. Restricted by circumstances or other “Officials” could impose heavy burdens that greatly restrict his freedom of movement. These transits sometimes precede some incident or accident which affect self or other’s, and thereby restrict’s one’s freedom of choice at that time. It is a time Kevin needs to be very, very careful not to raise the wrath of NASCAR.
Kyle Busch…What can I say? I am not going to bother to go into the what’s and why’s. All I am going to say, is “Sorry, Buddy, your ‘scope SUCKS.” It’s not going to be Kybu’s year. I have no doubt it will be someday, but 2010? Not gonna happen.
Kurt Busch’s ‘scope is near perfect until mid Nov., right around Phoenix and Homestead. The only reason I say near perfect is because I do see some challenges with the exact same Saturnian aspect’s during that time as Kevin Harvick does earlier in The Chase. Again, Kurt too, needs to be very careful of accidents, penalties and fines. If he can avoid them, Kurt may well earn another Championship this year.
Tony Stewart has the same aspect going on from Sept 18 until Oct. 4th, as does Denny Hamlin, Saturn opposition Moon. It will be a very difficult time emotionally for Smoke. Loudon, Dover and Kansas will be the challenging races for Tony. Unlike Denny, Tony’s Natal chart gives him a life long ability to overcome tremendous odds. Don’t count him out of contention until you see what happens after Kansas.
Greg Biffle may very well be the dark horse who flies from the backstretch to win the Chase. All of the Biff’s aspect’s are long term and positive, except for one Major Moon opposition. This opposition affects his self perception. If Greg can believe he can win the Chase, he will. If not…It will be a constant internal struggle that could be overwhelming. His crew is going to make all the difference in the world should this happen. He can do it. The alignment is there.
Jeff Gordon is in his last year of a seven year transit of Uranus through his ‘scope. Uranus symbolizes destruction, and then re-evolution. Most of Jeff’s aspects are all aspects of ruthlessness, as he prepares to re-emerge as the Champion he is, possibly in 2011. He will have to keep a tight reign on his desire for it to happen this year, or he could find himself placing 12th.
Carl Edwards also has major life change aspects surrounding him. This is Carl’s time, to learn to keep his ego in check. The major aspect I see in Carl’s ‘scope, that I see may affect him the most during The Chase, is the same Saturnian conjunction that is in Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch’s ‘scopes. Beware of penalties, fines and accidents. Unfortunately for Carl, this transit has been with him all year and doesn’t end until 2011. Sept. of 2011 to be exact.
Jeff Burton Astrologically, and unfortunately, is standing in the same line as Kyle Busch. I hate to say that…and I hope I am wrong. I hope I am missing this by a mile. We always have the week to week small aspects and overlays that can change the scenery a bit.
Matt Kenseth has a ‘scope which is pretty positive, except for one aspect. Matt’s Saturn is in opposition to Mercury from Sept. 24th until Oct. 10th. Again, we are seeing issues surrounding the Dover and Kentucky races, plus Fontana for Kenseth. Although this will not be an especially easy time for Matt, is does not have to be a negative matter. The one aspect of this influence is rigidity of thought. If Matt and crew can stay flexible through this time and not become disheartened or discouraged, they can hang in there. If not, consider Kenseth out of the running by Charlotte.
Clint Boyer has a ‘scope that indicates a lot of learning, and further training. His Saturn is trine his Sun from Oct. 1st, until Oct. 17th. Kansas, Fontana, and Charlotte may well be excellent races for Clint. By Homestead however, Clint will have the same Saturniun conjunction as Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards. If he can get through Phoenix and Homestead without incurring any penalties and fines, he may very well find himself in contention for The Championship.
Now what you have all been waiting for: Jimmie Johnson.
Double J’s ‘scope is perfect, as is Chad Knaus’s, once more. ( All the long term aspect’s that JJ and Chad have had for years, comes to an end in 2011. ) The only difference I see for The 2010 Chase, is that JJ has some serious competition this year.
I mean serious.
I think 2010 is going to be the best Chase for the Championship yet.
