We had a blast at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend. It is truly the Great American Speedway.
The happenings there had much to do with our Fast Lap questions this week On Pit Row. Here they are and here is a video of our Fast lap debate on the radio show.
Turn 1 - Is the Chase back on now that Jimmie Johnson had problems in Texas?
Turn 2 - Would Kyle Busch’s season be saved if he had won the triple?
Turn 3 - Who is to blame for Kyle running out of gas?
Turn 4 - What does Dale Earnhardt Jr have to do?
Tell us what you think. And since this is supposed be fast, please limit your answers to Twitter length - 140 characters. We don’t have a way to count your input, so this is the honor system for now.

1. Jimmie will have to have more problems-otherwise get ready for win #4.
2. I don’t know about Kyle’s saving face for not making the chase, but it would’ve been really cool to have been there when it happened.
3. A team effort. It’s hard to believe it happened considering they had won the two previous races in the last two days I was standing down near Kyle’s pit box when he toppped off his tank with two laps to go, I could tell he was clearly agitated at the turn of events.
4. Jr. just doesn’t seem to have that ‘eye-of-the-tiger attitude necessary to win.
1. The Chase will be back on at Homestead when Jimmie Johnson is waving people by to stay safe, but at Phoenix he’ll increase it to 100 points.
2. For me a NASCAR season only means the 36 points paying races. It’s good that he does other things but each series is unique. The Truck and Nationwide series are a lot less competitive then the Sprint cup series.
3. The crew chief. If they would’ve pitted later (if they could) then Kyle Busch could have possibly been in the same fuel situation his brother was in. Dodges get the worst fuel mileage in NASCAR so I think a Toyota under the same scenario would have made it.
4. He only does good every other year. He just needs to wait it out. Next year he’ll be out of his “Death Spiral”. He now has the Dictator he wanted so hopefully he’ll be focused in 2010.
