Joey Logano is a hell of a race car driver. One of the very best in the world.

Joey is 20 years old. He is living his fantasy, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing in the car that Tony Stewart built, in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Presently Logano has a problem with Kevin Harvick, basically a racing deal that got a lot of pub at Pocono and since. It’s been fun to watch.

Harvick too, is a terrific driver. He is a relatively, grizzled 34 years old and married to the lovely Delana. During TNT’s pre-race interview Sunday at Michigan Speedway Harvick was asked to comment on Logano’s comment that Delana Harvick “wears the fire suit in the (Harvick) family.”

Kevin’s answer was along the lines of – if you’re married, you know how it really works – indicating that Joey may be right. But, Harvick said that, at 20, Joey doesn’t yet know himself.

It was funny to hear it live. Harvick at his most sardonic.

Kevin Harvick is living his fantasy too. Accomplished Sprint Cup contender and team owner. And his wife wears a fire suit well.

I want one.
